My new Daily Mantra that has Helped me Focus on the Things That Matter Most // Lifestyle Blog

Working out #SelfCare and not getting caught up in the negativity, I wanted to start a mantra for the past month. However, all the ones didn't do anything personally to me so I just created one. Here it is, and don't laugh because so far it has worked my mind and better focus.

TURNED MORE INTO A CHECKLIST...

- "YOU ARE PROUD OF YOURSELF & OTHERS ARE PROUD OF YOU"

- "I'M MOTIVATED TO INCREASE MY HEART RATE IN THE AM & PM EVERY DAY"

- "YOU WILL EAT SOMETHING GREEN"

- "LEARN WITHOUT STRESS & KNOW YOU HAVE TO PAY YOUR BILLS, SO GET UP"

I recite this over and over in the mornings in my head while hiding from my kids in the closet. Jokes aside, quarantine has truly made quality time into my entire quality life, but boy has it been hard to focus on other things than just my family.

Also, I noticed myself going down the rabbit hole of worry, anxious, and too much CONTENT in my life. My routine was completely non-existent until I became aware of it.

My Mantra seems weird I'm sure, but it helps me stay balanced in a tone I can listen to. It doesn't sound fake and I think everyone should focus on their own mantra.

I was becoming so hard on myself I was beginning to lose proudness for myself as I thought I could do way more while in quarantine. I also thought I was letting my family down because of this. Once I realized, I focused on myself and performed all my hobbies and grounded myself again to understand that was my ego talking negative to myself.

I also became really hard on myself with working out and feeling like I was losing my body mass with not having a at home weighted gym I was just running. By clearing my mind with simplifying my mantra I bought a "door frame pull up bar" and damn! Doing 200 pull ups, 200 full extension push ups, 200 dips, & 200 sit ups really made me extremely sore today. Yay! Also, I was stressing so much on diet I just made simplified my diet by just eating more green stuff and buying more green stuff at the grocery store. I really like that clearness.

While on quarantine I started out by honestly overloading my brain with way to much information and I could decide the whole truths anymore. I started to go down the really dark rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and that was hard to get out of. Its really hard to figure the whole truth out of things that are so negative that you kind of lose motivation to figure out the positives or false claims you just listened too. SO I started telling myself that I only had to learn one thing a day not a thousand books, masterclasses, etc. Remember I have Kids and a Family I love and need to give attention to also along with my needy self.

And lastly, I kept forgetting I had so many bills I had to pay with it hard finding clients during this crazy weird time. So I added it to my Mantra so that I would remember to figure out ways to make more money.... Which I successfully accomplished!

Overall, I think it is very important to keep things simple and stress free with your daily focus mantra. I know mantras are suppose to be more peaceful, but balance in my life creates a more peaceful life, so I attack what I need to put into action first.

Go make your mantras!
